Plant Description
Yucca glauca, commonly known as soapweed yucca, is a hardy perennial native to the Great Plains of North America. Featuring narrow, blue-green leaves that form a rosette, this plant is distinguished by its tall, white flower spikes that bloom in early summer. It is extremely drought-resistant, making it ideal for xeriscaping and rock gardens. Soapweed yucca also has historical uses in traditional medicine and as a natural soap due to its saponin-rich roots.
