This undergraduate thesis by Olinda Gatta examines the architectural evolution and adaptive reuse of Palazzo De Majo, located in the Stella district of Naples. Through archival research, typological analysis and architectural surveying, the work traces the permanence, renewal and transformations of the building over time. Particular attention is given to the relationship between historical stratification and contemporary needs. The study contributes to the field of heritage and urban morphology by illustrating how localized architectural interventions reflect broader patterns of urban change and conservation practice in Southern Italy.
